Market View - 10/01/2011

Mainly due to inflation fears and inconsistency in government policies on reforms have created worry amongst investors which led to 4 percent decline in markets indices last week. The only silver lining that most of the selling has come in the form of creating short positions by speculators.  Also, with results of Q3 to be announced shortly one can hope for a rebound if corporate India continues to shine despite all the negative conditions created by rising crude prices and tepid government response to it.
